After a short hiatus for the Vampirella comic (2002-2005) we are treated to an incredible mini-series that explodes everything we ever thought we knew about Vampirella. Revelations, as the name suggests, is a revelation all right. In simple terms it redefines Vampirella's origin, her whole existence and her meaning and quest. As with many other series there is a fairly substantial abundance of covers, mostly with two regular issues (not the regular and alternate this time) - each with a virgin cover to showcase the gorgeous art. Perhaps most importantly - one of the regular covers for issue #1 is by Jose Gonzales - and it's a triumphant return and a glimpse (for older fans) of the glory of the past. |

Vampirella Revelations #0 At 25 cents an issue (a real bargain at the time) this is the launch issue with the beginning of the story to come plus interviews. Two covers, featuring a Vampirella straight from the past, one the virgin edition. Also a signed one. Jay Comany produced three variant special covers for this issue, pretty sexy ones too showing Vampirella sitting in a pool of blood (but if you look carefully you'll see her costume is made of blood only). |

Vampirella Revelations #1 Four cracking covers for this first edition, two 'regular' and two virgin. It's hard to decide if these are the best two covers for any single Vampirella issue ever - but if they aren't then they're close to it. I just can't decide which I like the most, but I must confess that the Gonzales one is very different from what I would have expected.

Vampirella Revelations #2 Another four covers, not quite as good as the first issue in my opinion, but then I've always liked the classic Vampirella look. |

Vampirella Revelations #3 I'm in love with the Daniel Horne cover. Need I say more? Oh, and while the Jusko cover is still great, it's not quite got what Joe usually produces for Vampirella - at least not for me. Like the spider though - shades of Sheelob. |

Vampirella Revelations Book II (Prototype Edition) In preparation for the second arc in the Vampirella Revelations saga, this prototype ashcan was published. There are two covers, the fabulous Al Rio cover (and if anyone should have done more Vampirella covers it's Al Rio) and an uncoloured version. |
