Blood Lust #1 This must be one of the ultimate painted comics ever. Superb art, cracking story, Vampirella as she ought to be. Read my personal review of this series (originally published in the Harris Horrornet e-zine) to see why I think it's so great. Both issues had a regular and virgin cover. There was also a gold version and a signed Dynamic Forces version of Issue #1 virgin cover, and a gold version of Issue #2. There was also a Dynamic Forces signed collection of both regular covers of #1 and #2 |

Blood Lust Hardback Collections In September 1998 Harris released a deluxe hardback collection of Blood Lust #1 and #2 with an additional epilogue especially drawn for the collection. This superb bound book was available in three different formats, the original gold edition (limited to 500 copies although original advertisements suggested the print run would be 1,200), a cheaper crimson version without the cover sleeve and a very (very) limited platinum edition (25 only) for Harris Comics staff. |

Long overdue, in 2006 Harris released a trade paperback version of the entire Blood Lust saga, featuring the extra ending that had previously only been available in the hardbacks. This edition also included the entire script for Issue #2. There was a very short 'Director's Cut' version of 2 pages of Joe Jusko's art, and a special bonus - the sketch that was also limited to the hardcovers before. Blood Lust is probably still my favourite Vampirella series, despite it sadly being so short, so this was a bonus for me. Alongside the standard edition was a limited signed edition, signed by Joe (of course). |
